The Jerusalem Columbarium is situated inside the Christian Alliance Church cemetery, located at the heart of the Jerusalem German Colony – Emek Refai’m St. This place is mentioned in the Book of Joshua, and in the Second Book of Samuel.
The cemetery was established more than a century ago. Operated by the Christian Alliance Church (an Evangelical Church, the cemetery today serves the local Christian Alliance Church and all associate congregations.
We are an associate of the Christian Alliance Church and we are honored to work with its representative in Jerusalem, the Hon. Rev. Scot A. Dressler.
Passionate artist, Patricia Solveson, began painting a mural on the cemetery wall back in 2009, labeling the project “The Jerusalem Wall of Life”. The mural is a powerful depiction of God’s continuous revelation, throughout history from Genesis to Revelation. The mural extends around the outer walls (longer than a football field) expressing the long-standing story of the Messiah and breathing new life into the cemetery. Patricia spent more than six years creating this masterpiece, allowing people to connect to this incredible love story of the bible every single day.
